Episode 2: The Apple MessagePad 2000 from 1997 with Newton OS v2.1 - Unboxing
Introduced in March of 1997 the Apple MessagePad 2000 personal digital assistants was one of the last Newton platform devices sold by Apple. The PDA featured a StrongARM SA-110 (162 MHz) CPU, 8 MB ROM, 4 MB RAM, 4 MB Flash memory, a 480 × 320 greyscale (16 shades) back lit screen and Newton OS version 2.1. The Apple MessagePad 2000 featured handwriting recognition software, however it as often considered to be very inaccurate.
